Most people are too busy earning a living to make any real money! I get it, you're passionate, you open a business, you work real hard, you perfect your craft, and before you know it you're so busy working IN your business, you don't have time to work ON your business - and balls start to get dropped.
I was just like you...
Hi, my name's Alain Blais, but most people call me Al The Marketer.
I'm not big on talking about myself, but others love to hear my story, so here I go (I'll keep it short)
I used to work hard.
The 18 hour days. The 7-day weeks. The endless late nights at the office.
And the worst part was when I was at work, I felt like I should be with my family, yet when I was with my family, I was panicking about business, finances, expenses and how much the darn holiday cost.
But for the first 7 years in business, I was one paycheck away from folding my business, and I didn't start making big money until I learned to do less - A LOT LESS!
I have owned, operated, and sold several businesses in Sudbury, and some globally.
Most local's know me as the past owner of Family Kickboxing. This is where my "marketing teeth" got sharpened.
I expanded that business 4 times, grew it to over 600 monthly paying members, and was listed as the largest transfomation center in Northern Ontario.
From there, a laundromat, a few ecomm sits, a marketing agency...
And then, out of the blue, I got a call from the worlds greatest motivational speaker, Les Brown, asking for my help. He had heard about some of the "business turn around" work I was doing, and needed my help... FAST.
In under a year, I took him from a deep, $500K in debt (caused by landing in the hospital and coming real close to NOT making it out alive), to back on top with millions in the bank.
This was a huge win for me too, of course, giving me the chance to work with other giants like Anik Singal, Terry Crews (yes, the actor!), Unstoppable Tracy, Raymond Aaron, and many more.
Oh, and let's not forget Canadian Entrepreneur Of The Year in 2018.
But, enough about me, I'm feeling a bit silly...
